MICHEL VALENTINO was born in march 1972, he was trained as a director and digital artist for film. 1995 Valentino made himself independent as a freelance director and multimedia artist.

He created visual effects for the film industries and produced numerous international music videos and promotional films. As a specialist for visual effects and model tricks he worked under the management of directors and producers all around the world.

Then in 2005 Valentino got out of the film industry to dedicate his whole creative work excluding the multimedia and performing arts. He went into partnership with his long-standing girlfriend DITA CERNOHLAVKOVA, a czech photographer (born in september 1972 in Prague) who became Valentino´s wife in 2007. In april 2008 their son Vincent was born.

He is dealing with the key elements of a society which is driven and controlled by politics, war, fashion, entertainment and computer technologies.

Valentino´s works reflect contemporary developments and visions as well as utopias of the past just as future, social structures which are marked by the influence of different cultures, life styles and technologies. The video camera, the photo camera, the computer and miniature models are equal, privileged tools in his creative working processes.

My goal is very simple:

“To communicate the human experience at a level that human beings can recognize and relate to. That may be a personal statement. It may be a political statement. But whatever it is, it all comes from the same point of reference: The experiences we share as people of this planet.“
